Rising stars Gloria Williams and Ellie Joseph By EJ

The UK seems to be nurturing some very talented young individuals at the moment, and Gloria Williams and Ellie Joseph are no exception. 24 year old Gloria, a dedicated writer and actress along with young director Ellie Joseph have put together a very ambitious one woman show entitled "Monday". The play which debuts on May 7th at the New end theatre tells the story of an 18 year old North London female who is haunted by her abusive past.

The dynamic duo;Joseph and Williams are set to engage and capture our minds with this poignant depiction of a young black british female. Not only has the play been selected to feature in n Manhattan Rep’s New York Amazing Play Festival in May 2009 (13th – 15th) it has also been accepted to take part in another New York Festival in July of this year.
